Rights Respecting
Luthermuir Primary School has gained the Level 1 Rights Respecting Schools Award.
The Rights Respecting Schools Award (RRSA) recognises achievement in putting the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) at the heart of a school’s planning, policies
At Luthermuir we aim not only to teach about children’s rights but to model rights and respect in all our relationships: between teachers / adults and pupils, between adults and between pupils. Our RRS pupil group work together to take forward Rights Respecting work in school and ensure it is at the core of our practice and ethos.
We regularly discuss world issues and raise money to help support rights across the globe.
